The quality is good. PVC is very sturdy and easy to work with. It is as described. It’s white and really does not need painting if wanting white, but depending on the lighting I detect a slight sheen. I am still not sure if I want to create more work for myself just to ensure it matches my ultra white satin wall paint. I started to cut using my mini hacksaw but didn’t get a clean cut so I used my wet tile saw and it gave me a perfect cut. If your walls don’t line up right you may run into a problem getting the straight lines to meet up and need to compensate with a good caulk job. As you can see by the photo I haven’t done the permanent attachment, but I’ll glue and use the brad nailer.
It’s exactly as I hoped. Just thin enough to sit above my baseboard. It’s thin, but not so flimsy as to easily break. It was able to sit on my baseboard without me holding it as I did a test run before securing it to the wall. I have not put it up yet. I need to prime and paint that portion of the wall white. I super pumped to get it up so I invested in a cordless brad/pin nailer. If I am honest this project gave me an excuse to buy one. If I can load a pic later I will.
